Well ever since I lowered my car I've had some issues with the left front strut. There seems to be a "clunking" noise coming from the left strut. I put on a brand new set of Eibach Pro Kit Springs, UPR Shark steel caster/camber plates and Tokico struts and springs. The car is lowered about 2" all the way round. I had it aligned after all of this was put on my car.

I called UPR about the CC plates being defective and they sent me some new spherical bearings. Walter & Tom looked at the left side and were able to replace the bearings. This seemed to really help it out and all but elimanated the noise. Over the last week or so the noise seems to be coming back.

Now I know this has drastically altered the ride height from the stock settings and you can expect some issues. But this is really starting to annoy me. I know other Mustang owners that have lowered their cars and have not had these issues I'm having.

Anybody got any other suggestions on what to do other than putting it back to stock? I really like the way it looks and the ride isn't really that bad, it's just this noise that is getting to me.

Mike

Well I thought it was but it's starting to come back again. I think I'm going to buy a different set of caster/camber plates. I'm not to impressed with these UPR Shark ones at all. I'm thinking Maximum Motorsports or maybe the Steeda ones. I need to do a little more research on those two brands...

Got any other suggestions?
